It’s often difficult for business owners to appreciate the importance of case studies on a website. They may question why anyone would want to know the details of a real-life business scenario.

When visitors can see how your product or service has helped others, they are able to identify with their own situation. It gives the visitor confidence that you will be able to help them also and they can start to imagine the outcome they will experience.

A case study does not need to be long and wordy. A recommended approach is to break it down in to the following small chunks:

  • Problem/scenario – Why your customer sought your product / service
  • Process/solution recommended – How you approached solving their problem
  • Outcome – The result or outcome for the customer
