DAY 29 – No-Nonsense Navigation

DAY 29 of 30 Days to a High Performing Website

NO-NONSENSE NAVIGATION – Usability Essential

Make it really easy for visitors to find out what they are looking for. Avoid using jargon or terms that don’t explicitly describe what you offer. We worked with a business that had a menu tab named “creative”. We carried out extensive studies in their target market and found that no-one knew what it meant or what to expect if they clicked on it.

When users cannot find the information they want immediately or have to make an unnecessary number of clicks, their experience with you doesn’t get off to a very good start.
